Review on 🔒 Hiflofiltro Premium Oil Filter Pack - HF401-4 (4 Pack) by Maurice Morris

This filter, HF 401, was marked as suitable for my 2000 Triumph Trophy 1200 motorcycle. However, the O-ring of the large oil filter cover was too large in diameter. There was no way it could fit into the groove it was intended for. Maybe 2/3 inch more. Also, the "circumference" of the O-ring, ie the thickness of the rubber ring, seemed too thick to fit in the groove. VERY BAD. I think the cross reference is wrong. The right filter might be HF192. Not sure. I will never buy an HF-401 again. I had to use an old o-ring from a previous oil change. Also, the overall diameter of the filter element was 1/16 inch or slightly smaller than my previous filter. The height was the same. The whole product doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
