NO PADDING & skis barely fit

This is a very very thin bag with no padding. They say the mids are "soft" but it really won't work if the skis are knocked down. I wrapped my skis in towels and clothes just in case. I used an airline holdall but wouldn't recommend it unless you plan on wrapping your skis in something like I did to give them some cushioning. My skis are 182 cm long and hardly fit in a bag. With extra towels to protect since there is no padding, the fit became even tighter. But it still worked. Gave a rating of

Not for flying: Ski bags

I was looking for a flight bag for my ski trip west. I felt there was a lack of protection. I really thought it had a lot of space and could fit a few things like extra clothes and more but I didn't think I would feel safe in this bag in the hands of airlines. It is laid in the middle and only in the middle. The straps on the bag are definitely long enough to wear over your shoulder if you wish to carry the bag that way. I think it will be durable for both storage and transportation to and from

Great ski bag for 1 pair of skis and poles.

I bought this ski bag because my old ski bag zipper finally fell apart. I needed to be picked up and delivered within 3 days when I left for Jackson Hole. I read the reviews of different bags and decided on this one. It was a great decision. Revain - always great - delivered in 2 days. The bag was exactly as advertised. It's perfect for a pair of skis and poles. I have a 185cm bag and my 173 skis fit in it easily. As mentioned, it doesn't go over 178 or 180. It looks good and is well securedโ€ฆ

Perfect and easy travel ski bag

Easily holds a pair of skis, poles, jacket, pants, gloves and more! You can wear a helmet, but flying is not recommended as it can get hit. I used to travel to Colorado and had several flights to get there. Everything came in perfect condition. I closed the bag with an extra drawstring as I don't trust the movers. Ski boots CANNOT be picked up. The padding is minimal but present. For flying I would suggest wrapping the bindings with something (e.g. a jacket or ski pants). Two pairs of skisโ€ฆ

  • Not bad

Would I recommend in ski bags

This bag is good value for money. This is a fairly heavy cordura that I feel comfortable flying with. The stitching could have been reinforced in a few places so I didn't give 5 stars as I think there will be issues after a few rides but so far it's holding up. It has padding around the ski attachment area. As long as it holds up well. I would recommend it for flying. The best part is that it's lightweight. I bought a very expensive heavy duty bag and it weighs just under 10 pounds which meansโ€ฆ

Tested and Air Travel Approved

I needed a last minute ski bag that wasn't very expensive. I vacillated between needing a wheeled bag or one of those "hand carry" styles. I ended up choosing this bag as I didn't want to move around like a trailer with a long bag behind the airport, but I also have luggage on 4 wheels and this bag can sit on top and maneuver more easily! My skis are 177 cm and hardly creak in the fit. I had a great ski trip and this bag protected my skis and poles from Albuquerque to Dallas. I put my coatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
