I love these road bike pegs, apart from being functional which means they offer a comfortable fit they look great. I couldn't justify the high cost of a Kuryakyn pair, but it was an affordable alternative. I also needed the extended footpegs that fit my Valkyrie and found them to be the perfect length to accommodate the wide engine block. Tried everything... Rubber inserts were included, no rubber inserts, with and without plastic gasket. WILL NOT be delayed. I have 1 1/4" street bars and those on the other bike work GREAT, no slip. The overall quality of these pegs is very good. The chrome finish is great, there are no stains on the pair I received. My advice is to watch the video. This gives you some basic editing ideas. Contrary to other reviews, I used BOTH spring clips. The pedal will not hold when only one clamp is installed. It takes some effort, but they get in.
