let's see if they stay.

2018 Ultra Limited Low: looks GREAT. The chrome is good and the pegs are large and look comfortable. However, they are too big for a racing bike handlebar. I removed the nylon spacer but the bolt fasteners are still not fully tightened to the handlebar. I am thinking of using the inner tube rubber as a liner and see how it holds up. Also, the inside of the mount has a spike-like design and doesn't easily fit between the apron and the handlebar. I had to undo the straps of the apron, move it…

Lots of adjustments, love them on my bike.

I have a 17 year old Road King. I didn't install them as a full footstool to give the look of a stretched out eagle riding down the freeway, but to have more room to lean my foot out and room to put the toe of my boot on. Installation is a bit fiddly. since the parts rotate a lot and there are few adjustments. The good thing, however, is the numerous settings these footpegs can be adjusted to in a variety of different configurations to suit every rider's preference. The construction feels high…

Attractive and affordable

I love these road bike pegs, apart from being functional which means they offer a comfortable fit they look great. I couldn't justify the high cost of a Kuryakyn pair, but it was an affordable alternative. I also needed the extended footpegs that fit my Valkyrie and found them to be the perfect length to accommodate the wide engine block. They are fully adjustable and although they are designed for 1-1/4" bars, I was able to mount them to my 1" bars by inserting a strip of rubber between the…

Won't tighten unless you use double sided tape!

Tried everything... Rubber inserts were included, no rubber inserts, with and without plastic gasket. WILL NOT be delayed. I have 1 1/4" street bars and those on the other bike work GREAT, no slip. Unfortunately they are shorter and I can't get close to them on the bike I bought the Longhorns for. Not sure why them PITA are!***Update*** I've INDEPENDENTLY upgraded my rating to 3 stars I took everything apart and saw that those cheap "rubber" adhesive inserts fell apart when I tried to tighten…

Endless mounting options

The overall quality of these pegs is very good. The chrome finish is great, there are no stains on the pair I received. My advice is to watch the video. This gives you some basic editing ideas. Contrary to other reviews, I used BOTH spring clips. The pedal will not hold when only one clamp is installed. It takes some effort, but they get in. Watch the video, there is a right way and a wrong way to install clips. Well, for my setup the pegs seemed to stay taut when set higher on the guard bars…
