Sturdy belt, plastic buckle

The belt just arrived and upon inspection I can say it's durable but keep in mind the buckle is plastic (which is what I wanted for air travel). The buckle feels solid, but I plan to be careful with it when opening and closing the clasp. Lightning is strong. I was able to fit 12 bills in the cash compartment (in stacks of 4). In other words, I stacked 4 bills together and then placed each folded stack end to end in the belt and then buckled it. worked fine I even have room for a house key. I'mโ€ฆ

Nicely made but a bit flimsy

I bought Braun to complement the Two Eagle Creek (EC) money belt that I have used for years, the style of which is no longer available. Upon opening the package, I found the belt was a lot less durable than my Eagle Creek, but it was well made; no loose stitches, slightly longer zippered case, "Made in USA" tag, etc. When I attached my calipers to it, I found that the belt material was thinner than Eagle Creek's, 1.9mm vs. 2.2mm. Doesn't sound like much, but the material is also finer woven and

Essential for trips to more dangerous areas.

Meet everyone. I kept all my big zip bills in it and small ones in my pockets. A $100 bill and about $300 in other bills. You can fold a stack of 3-4 bills in thirds and attach them. Need more cash? Go to the bathroom and discreetly pull it off your belt. When the belt is worn and tensioned low enough, it's impossible to tell that it differs from the belt that comes with most streetwear. May be too thin for men's jeans. The right size fits both men and women. Before you leave the house, try toโ€ฆ

  • Appearance

This was enough for my 30 day trip. Only takes about half the time. The buckle broke the day I got home. Doesn't hold a lot of money without being obvious. I could put hundreds of $1,000s in it. The zipper dangled and would unravel on its own with normal wear, so I decided to use tape over it to keep it closed and out of sight. You have to fold the bills to fit inside. Most bureaux de change only accept legible bills in mint condition with no creases, so its intended use as a backup cash holder
