Dry reed tube compact structure, small weight, can be installed in the extremely limited space, very suitable for miniaturization equipment. Dry reed switch components are hermetically sealed in an inert gas atmosphere, never contact with the external environment, long working life. Dry reed tube does not use sliding components, so there will be no metal fatigue related to the degradation of all metals, to ensure virtually unlimited mechanical life. Excellent but very fragile.

Great little switches. The only problem is that they are extremely fragile. Even just bending the wires almost guarantees it will break. If you know and it's okay, then it's fine. Be sure to order at least a few extras, though. I ordered 5 and broke 4. Finally I decided to fill the glass tube with epoxy.

Ideal for both normally open and closed repairs. If you break them, it's your fault.

Each reed switch can either not be or be a breaker. (closer and opener). Withstood the heat of my soldering iron and as long as you use two pairs of needle noses to adjust the legs you won't break them. Very sensitive to magnetic fields.

I would try another brand

I have bought a few items from HiLetGo and they are usually of decent quality. Unfortunately, these reed switches proved problematic. They are INCREDIBLY fragile as other reviewers have pointed out. You also need to have a magnet handy on it for it to react. I ended up rummaging through the whole bag but STILL couldn't complete my project because they either broke or didn't work reliably.
