Description of Hillman 48273 2 Inch Painted Square

Painted head deck screws are designed so that they fade from view in the overall appearance of the deck. Ceramic coating provides superior rust and corrosion protection. Type 17 point and flat head eliminate predrilling and will lay flat with your decking. Square drive for confident stick fit while driving. For use in all woods: cedar, redwood, pressure treated wood (ACQ, CA, and CCA recommended).

As best advertised in Fasteners

I would give 5 stars but don't know how well they would work in patio furniture. I haven't been able to remember for a few years.

Subfloor Screws - Fastener

I used 1500 of these screws to attach the subfloor to the joists in preparation for installing the hardwood floor. The black floor had previously been nailed down and many of them were loose and creaky. They tighten and have a square tip.

Good work! - Fasteners

I'm an amateur carpenter but these are great for the outdoor furniture I've made. I also blown about 300 of these replacement deck boards. The included driver bit didn't last long, which is a shame, but anyone who uses half a box a day definitely has their own set of bits. I think I had a total of 8 screws where the coating came off and my bit didn't fit, but 8/300 is acceptable imo. Have fun screwing, Joe M.
