A must for apartment walls

Apparently my walls are made of some substance that laughs at nails and scoffs at drills. However, these trinkets fit easily into the wall and securely hold all of my wall art, clocks, and other essentials that I like to have on my walls.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for old people

Wanting to hang my Christmas present on my brick mailbox this year, I challenged myself to find something to wear it on. Despite reading all the reviews, I still had doubts about this product. Well, let's just say they work! I'll admit the first two hit well, but the final hammer blow broke the hook. After that no problem.

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • Out of style

Didn't work on my 2 wall types.

These picture hangers cannot be attached to the concrete wall as hoped. The plastic hook on the bottom isn't very strong either, so hitting it with a hammer will miss and break the piece. So I'm thinking about hanging the frame on a hook like that. I also tried using them on our clay walls hoping it would work, but in reality they just ripped little bits out of the clay when I tried to pound them in. That.

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
  • No automatic

Keep breaking the hook with a hammer

Am I the only one who keeps breaking the hook part by hammering on the pins? Well, maybe I am. But this is starting to get annoying. Generally yes, these work on concrete walls. But at $1.25 each, it annoys me how often I break them. The alternative is this: but they have other problems: they leave big holes in the wall, it's more difficult to align two on the same level because the nails are driven in at an angle, and the nails can bend or knock out parts of the wall. However, I think that's…

Pros
  • Durable product
Cons
  • Requires a socket wrench
