My 8 year old son loves these shorts, they are comfortable, stylish and fun in the summer. I only put one star because one pair had loose threads and the stitching on the back came undone when I washed it the first day. I'll fix it on my sewing machine so no problem.

The shorts are a nice surprise and also have pockets. I bought these for my 13 year old stepson who is a size 14-16. He's quite skinny, about 5ft - 5ft 1in tall, with shorts that come down to his knees. They're a little loose at the waist, but plenty of elastic keeps them tucked in. He was content with them. Let's see how they hold up and how long they last.

I bought these for my 11 year old grandson who lives out of state. In fact, I bought different kinds. His mother says he likes these short films best. I chose size 10 - mom says they fit perfectly. I'll say he's smaller for his age - both in height and weight - in case it helps anyone. I always update my reviews when new information seems useful.
