The set was incomplete: spare part

received quickly, but sent a set with 6 large sockets and 2 small sockets. Luckily I only had one door that needed fixing.

so far so good on parts

My local body shop changed the door bushings on my truck. the copper type you can find at your local auto parts store. made of brass. Except they fell apart after 2 weeks. found them on amazon. no cheap brass. but made of different material, so far everything is fine. I got through the two week deadline with these new door grommets. and they still look and work great!

97 C 3500 Door Pins

I bought 2 sets of pins and sockets and fitted one side the door had more play than the old ones so I measured the pin and socket and found the pins are same as oem actually 0.002 bigger which is good but the bushings were a lot bigger, although they matched the hinge they were very loose on the pin so the door had a lot of play and wouldn't close the door you could lift door up and down almost an inch waste of time and money, all aftermarket pins and bushings i found were looser more than…
