Made in Japan for multi-testers

If you really want Made in Japan, you've got it. Nowadays it's easy to buy Chinese products, but not Japanese ones. Ohm meter and a mirror to see the needle clearly.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Volume

The best on the planet

The best on the planet, I can see the membrane button twitching with this tester. Not suitable for a beginner. This counter is easy to screw up. Sensitive equipment. Autotuning meter is what I recommend for most people.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Premium Analog Multimeter Hioki 3030-10

I have several multimeters on my desk. Both analog and digital, but mostly I use a Hioki analog multimeter. Processing quality and measurement accuracy are excellent. I like it!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing

Great counter for the price.

I gave it four stars because test guides don't allow attachments. Just like the conductors. Wouldn't mind paying a little more if more varied leads were included. Otherwise great gauge. I am currently attending an electronics course and need it for my studies. There is also no mirror under the parallax needle.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Disappearing

The name Hioki speaks for itself. First class multimeter from Japan, not from China! Well constructed, easy to read and understand mirror scale. The probes at the ends of the test leads are hard gold plated and can be replaced with longer probes if necessary. This multimeter is one of the five I recommend.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Write later
