Just DO NOT put it in the washing machine!

I bought this tie as a present for my husband. He loved it. It looks stylish and elegant and goes very well with almost any shirt. (I bought black - so goes with everything, EVEN BLACK!) - Simple. DO NOT put in the washing machine! I'm not sure if that's in the instructions or not. I accidentally washed it. He was torn to pieces and he was so angry. .-. I am going to buy him another one as he loved the first one so much!

NOT Silk, Fire Tested

Like many others, I was curious if this 100% silk tie was actually silk. The best and easiest way to determine this is to do a fire test and I did it on a pocket square. The result is in the attached photo. As you can see this is NOT silk. Instead of burning and turning to ash, the material turned into black balls. The smell was definitely plastic. The material is not silk, the description is not correct.

Well considering the price

Let's face it, this is a great value tie. The silk and lining are thin. It doesn't look significant. It also comes in a plastic bag instead of a box. I don't wear pocket squares but this one seems very stiff. However, this is a good inexpensive tie. It is well made and hangs well. If you need a tie for a special occasion (I needed a black tie for a funeral) or you just want a wide range of ties I would recommend this. I would also love this gift for Father's Day when my kids were younger…

Overall great set. Although the tie is not made entirely of silk, it is easy to tie and knot. I need a great color.

Excellent quality tie and pocket square. Intense navy blue is an essential part of any man's wardrobe, whether business or formal, and this tie fills that need. Stands Out Not Flashy (Black with Crossed Line Pattern)

This tie goes great with my black suit! The tie is actually only dark gray and not black as advertised, but I like it. A design for those who want to look sophisticated and professional without being flashy or ostentatious. I highly recommend this color. Nice!: Men's

My husband bought this set for my dad as a gift and my dad (he's 73 and quite elegant) loved this set, he even wore the handkerchief that came with it which surprised me; He's gotten a lot of compliments on the royal color so I know he'll be wearing it a lot from now on :) It came in nice packaging too. My dad is just over 6' tall so it's the perfect length for a tie hanging on a man in a suit. It is very nice to keep this as a spare "gift" for other male friends/family members.

Good quality ties, cummerbunds and pocket squares

Looked great on my husband! Both the tie and handkerchief matched the description. The material was durable, a bit thick (not cheap) with lots of profile. The seams of the tie were sewn well. It was easy to tie (not too tight and not too flimsy). The navy blue was a true navy blue. It left no marks or streaks on my hands or my husband's white shirt. I am satisfied with the quality, I will definitely order from this company again.
