I love these buttons, they look stylish with the other mods on my controller. However, when I installed it for the first time, I noticed that the R1 button was still stuck. I wrote to the seller about this problem and each time he quickly returned the correspondence and corrected the situation. I haven't tried the new R1 button yet, but once I do I plan to report the results. They are metal and appear to be of excellent quality, FYI.

I got fed up with maintaining my DS4 over and over again because an R2 broke (thanks to Sony for the most despicable design flaw) then got it I decided to do my best. The trigger is metal just to see what happens. Well, R2 isn't damaged anymore, but now the spring pulling it forward breaks, so the breaking point just moved from the trigger to the spring. These are cool buttons, the sticks are good and don't slip. The only problem is that the D-Pas is made out of cheap plastic and doesn't match the color of the rest of the buttons. I'm sure there's a way to make it out of metal like everything else, but it doesn't matter, if you don't like it then you don't have to use it. I would give this 5 stars but I don't want to distort the fact that it is NOT gold. As other reviewers say, they're clearly copper (or MAYBE especially orange-pink gold). Luckily I knew that when I bought them and much preferred them to the traditional gold paint. If you're familiar with disassembling the DS4 controller, you shouldn't have any trouble installing it.
