How do I know these coils are not fake coils?

My friend ordered original NGK spark plugs from Revain. When I called NGK and double checked the numbers on the spark plug, it turned out to be fake. How do I know these coils are not fake?

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent Quality OEM

Installed on a 2002 Nissan Altima with a V6 engine. I installed them as a precaution when changing spark plugs because they are time consuming and difficult to change and I have 120,000 miles on them. You must remove the intake manifold on this vehicle to replace the spark plugs or ignition coils. This is an OEM part that can be originally installed on the vehicle.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost everything is OK

Spares didn't last long

Purchased 3 coils as a precaution as one of the rear coils which required removal of the engine header broke down so why not replace all 3? Well of course the two I bought from Revain blew up after 2 months. The one that initially blew up and the mechanic got a replacement for is fine. Brand new lasted less than 2 months and 1000 miles. Both failed and melted in the same place. The exchange cost me 400€ more.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good product! in Coils

I was going to get the stubs for the original and after a quick search found out they use it. I only brought three to replace the ones under my intake manifold on my '08 Nissan Frontier Crew-Cab V6 4.0 as they are hard to reach. They've been working great since I installed them. I will buy others if I need them. The price wasn't cheap, but it wasn't too expensive either. And you get HITACHI, a well-known brand. Overall I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not bad but...

After all six ignition coils I replaced last year had failed I decided it was time to go with Hanshin or Hitachi as both are Nissan OEMs. First I noticed a higher quality than the rolls I bought last year. The spring inside the Hitachi looked the same as the OEM, while the cheaper coil spring was flimsy and not straight. In the end you get what you pay for. These coils are of high quality and value for money.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Fits

Perfect fit and functionality

Hitachi coils are OEM parts. They fit perfectly and work very well. A tip, if one of them doesn't work, replace them all. Especially if the defective one is under the intake manifold. You will not regret it. We did just that, the failed coil pack was under the header. The repair shop repaired and repaired three coil packs and manifold seals because the truck was in Maryland when the coil pack failed. I myself replaced three others on the driver's side when she returned home to Florida…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • High Price

Cylinder 1 Misfire Fixed

2006 Nissan Pathfinder. Misfire code in cylinder 1. First thing I did was change the spark plug. Misfire not fixed. Ordered this part at half price (the cheapest available) from the local auto parts store. Immediate solution. Runs great now. You do not need to remove the intake manifold to change the cylinder 1 spark plug and coil. It's tricky and you'll need some special tools as it's a very tight fit, but if I can do it, so can you (I'm not a mechanic)! There is a video online on how to…

Great Quality, Original Equipment and 1/3 Dealer Price

Pilot Code P0303 (#3 Cylinder Misfire) in my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. Direct OE replacement, the code is cleared immediately after installation and testing. I plan to buy 5 more to replace the remaining ignition coils. The biggest problem with my Pathfinder is accessing the right bank of ignition coils since the intake manifold is directly above cylinders 1, 3 and 5. I barely pulled out the old spool and put this one in (I have small hands so I just had to). can reach the bolt ignition coil and…
