Excellent quality! for tripod and monopod accessories

A7iii - works great and cools the hand on hot shooting days. Love how durable it is and how easy the battery door connects to it. I would like it to seal the bottom of the chamber like a door, but unfortunately it doesn't.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • A few little things

Good for the camera

Handles grip extension better than most other L-plate systems. The battery cover was easy to fit onto the plate, although you may have to open and close it a few times to get it in place. A worthy addition to any camera.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Helps with grip, that's all

I wish this unit was better. The device makes gripping my a7iii case much easier. However, the battery door does not open when the handle is attached. At least they included an Allen key to take it off so the battery can be replaced. Almost good, but hardly usable.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • weak

Sony's best full-frame grip for the price

This is hands down the grip you'll want to buy. Do not buy other competitors (Meike etc.) This handle is all metal. The camera body is firmly and tightly attached to the Arca-Swiss compatible grip. The interface between this grip and the bottom plate of my A7III is smooth on all sides. I would rate it 5 stars if it was €10 cheaper.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • No form required

Well done. Serves its purpose.

Provides a little grip when holding the camera. Good thing there is a battery cover. I want it to have plugs for the other holes and be cut straight at the bottom so the camera doesn't tip over when I sit on it. I know this goes against Sony's goal of making the camera more compact, but I like having options. Overall good value for money.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Reliable

RRS style and shape, I don't think they make her taller

I've tried several holds but this one is perfect for me. It gently lengthens the grip, some other grips stand out and are not as comfortable. That's the right price. The battery door works perfectly and allows my Peak design's tabs to be attached to the underside without interfering with the built-in mounting plate. Also the magnetic Allen key is the clutch. I had to replace the key that came with it with a Peak Design key as the metal was soft. For me, nbd. If it still exists, take it back. no

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative present

More useful than Sony's "Pinky Extender "

I wish I had bought it before Sony's $130 "Pinky Extender". It's much more useful because it fits snugly on my carbon fiber tripod and you don't have to unclip it and twist it sideways to get to the battery like the Sony does. The Allen key is held by a magnet, so it's always handy when you're not carrying it around. Or if you find the magnet is too weak, you can always put the key in your camera bag. It was also easy to slide the battery cover onto the grip (A7RIII). Just take your time and…

Additional real estate! Best Tripod & Monopod Accessory

I really like this grip, it adds a few ounces and it's not made of any fancy plastics or materials but that's also why it costs so much. that's why it gets four stars. I believe it's worth $5 to $10 less than what it's being sold for. This is nothing more than a personal opinion. It adds a bit of weight (regardless of its function and size) and is pretty basic BUT if you have big hands or just enjoy the extra armroom, this is the way to go. It is perfect for A7iii and A7rii. I can't be wrong…

Pros
  • Best Niche Product
Cons
  • Annoying

good workmanship, a little loose

The metal of the handle feels nice but after a few dozen loosening and retightening times the Allen key provided broke fairly quickly and I replaced it with the one I already had, fits conveniently into a slot in the handle. It was also a little loose from the body, most of the time taking it off and putting it on I had to try and fix this issue as I figured it just wasn't the case. not tight enough. The loosening was very slight and imperceptible on lighter lenses, but it pulled on your hand…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Poor instructions
