More useful than Sony's "Pinky Extender "
I wish I had bought it before Sony's $130 "Pinky Extender". It's much more useful because it fits snugly on my carbon fiber tripod and you don't have to unclip it and twist it sideways to get to the battery like the Sony does. The Allen key is held by a magnet, so it's always handy when you're not carrying it around. Or if you find the magnet is too weak, you can always put the key in your camera bag. It was also easy to slide the battery cover onto the grip (A7RIII). Just take your time and voila. Done without damage.
