Saturday family celebration of Christmas entree; Alaskan king crab. 2 hours before dinner we received a HiWare meal of 10 seafood as a Christmas present and what a difference in our dining experience. The crab legs cracked slightly and the meat was easy to extract. Finally someone has created the right tools for a delicious seafood dinner.

I am very happy with it. I had never bought crackers and crackers before but was hoping to get something that was a good weight for them like what we have used in expensive restaurants in the past. Not one of those flimsy, falling apart cheap things. It was right for the money - while good for the price, it's not cheaply made. My husband has used them several times and each time they seem just as strong and sturdy so I expect them to last a long time.

They make eating shellfish very easy and not as messy. We were able to take out all the meat with ease, so there was a lot less waste. The forks/pickups are light but feel good in the hand. The tongs/crackers are made of shiny metal and are quite heavy, seeming quite sturdy. I don't know if they would have survived cracking walnuts or something, but they worked great with crab legs and claws. We don't eat lobster or crab often, but the price was right to have them whenever we need them!

I know you get what you pay for. So I bought a cheap set and got cheap quality. My mom has lobster crackers that are older than me. what OLD is. I don't see these things serving more than 5 uses. They dangle from the joint connecting the two arms and are not very good at breaking hard shells. You look beautiful. That's all. So I bought some frozen crabs from Sam's Club and went home to cook/eat them (it was a 2 pound bag). It was hard to eat without shrimp crackers and my fondue forks didn't work either. We went to Target, WalMart and At Home to get a set of shrimp crackers but couldn't find a set anywhere so I went to Revain to get it while I was at Target. Bought after using them at a local restaurant. I've been eating Maryland blue crab since I could walk. I have never seen this tool other than crackers. I was so surprised how the pickaxes pulled everything out of the smallest spot in the crab. I went straight home after dinner and ordered them. We recently treated ourselves to Alaskan king crab legs at home. Unfortunately we didn't have the necessary tools so we had to cut and open the legs. It was hard on the hands! No wonder I found exactly what we needed at Revain. Even the tools they use in Joe's Crab Shack, which we really like. I can't rate all the features yet as we haven't used them. But they seem to be exactly what we expected, and now that we have those tools we won't hesitate to host another crab night at home. Oh, and they
