🔥 Turbo Heat Shield Wrap Spring for Subaru WRX Gold by Hiwowsport Review

I used this turbo blanket on my Subaru WRX VF52 Turbo. Fits great and does the job well by keeping underhood temps down and intercooler temps reasonable. These photos were taken after five months of use, including about 15 runs on the drag strip. I took it off today to move the turbo and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

Bought two of these. I have a wrx wagon with td04 and fxt with vf39, fits great with td04, doesn't fit vf39, sti said in the description, so thought it would work with vf39, but it seems to be rubbing on the wastegate lever and won't close very well downstream of the turbine. Soaked them in water. I placed the feathers on the narrow end of the blanket, hooked the hooks, and attached a piece of wire to the front feather to catch it under the turbine. So happy! Installed on my wrx 2011. As far as I can tell it's the same quality as ptp and cobb but less than 1/4 the price. The gap between the turbo and the gearbox is too small for the hooks, if you lower it on the back of the turbo and tilt it forward it fits very well and doesn't interfere with the wastegate actuator. I wish I had a better rating but it started falling apart while I was installing it. Just one stitch on the downpipe side of the turbocharger and it still works, but after you have to remove it more than a few times it keeps falling apart. I installed it on a stock 02 WRX Turbo and it fits great. The clean stock wastegate lever is fine and tight. Holds heat well and prevents heat from penetrating through the top mounted intercooler.
