HMM Iron & Teak Coffee Scoop: A Stylish and Reliable Brewing Accessory Review

Great and comfortable weight. A friend of mine had this coffee spoon and was so impressed with the design, quality and durability that I had to buy it.

I keep this at work for a french press mug, works well, looks stylish and even has a magnet so I don't have to Put it on the bottom of the top drawer of my toolbox and lose it

I like everything else about the spoon but the magnet is so useless it shouldn't have been included in the design. It's impossible for a magnet to hold a spoon on any surface other than horizontal :P Also, it would be nice if the design was more balanced. The spoon is so heavy that the teak is very light making it a bit awkward.

For the price this item is a literal disappointment. I mean the magnet can't hold the heavy spoon on the fridge and it slides down the side. So what's the point? Also, I'd rather have a handle that's longer than three inches. Was it a cost-based decision to make it this short? Every cast iron skillet I've had has been cheaper than this one. While the spoon aesthetically enhances my coffee experience, I just can't help but think about all the downsides that came with the $35 coffee beans. Scoop.

I was taught from a young age that everything should have the potential to be beautifully designed. Things that seem mundane, like an iron, a trash can, or in this case a coffee spoon, can be amazing and well-made. This shovel is made from two simple materials that have been used for generations, but when put together they meld into something beautiful. The shovel is well built, simple and fabulous. Do yourself a favor, ditch your plastic shovel and replace it with this one. You will not regret
