Hobart 770433 Replacement Components Headgear Review

If you have an old gearbox with orange knobs, RESERVE IT! This one has a lot of slop in the hood hinge and will eventually loosen the grips and make your hood annoying to use. I used super glue to remove the slop, it worked... but I didn't have to fix anything brand new.

QUALITY. My old Hobart helmet took 15 years for the headgear to fail. I took a close look at the universal interchangeable headgear, but was not satisfied with the quality. It was 100% OEM, perfect fit, very easy installation. I'll probably finish welding and my son has another 15 years to do when he's worn out.

We have a welding and lawn mower/garden equipment shop. My husband is an experienced welder with 40 years of experience and has worn protective hats for many years. This device is very good. He installed it last night and said the only problem is that he needs to add another node. This is a little man. We fixed them locally and the prices were a few dollars higher. Husband says it's durable and good quality, he hopes it will last a long time. Excellent delivery, received in 2 days!
