Fast grinder for steel

I like the possibility to stick the grinder on the metal but again it has to be replaced with a clip just because I gave it 4 stars

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Functionality

Must be in the welding shop!

Bought this clamp for projects that might not fit the welding table. Easy to move and provides the perfect base for welding.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not bad

Magnet is too weak: welder

It's a good idea to ground something if you can't clamp it down, but the magnet is too weak to support its own weight when it's upside down stands.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Suffices

Excellent product for welding and brazing

Ideal for steel. Unfortunately I switched to aluminum welding shortly after ordering, but still make minor adjustments to steel projects. Much easier than trying to crimp thick tubing.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not up to the task.

Tried two of these in our shop on Miller 350P 300A welders. They lasted less than 2 weeks. They get hot and eventually fail. Our welders also didn't feel like they were providing proper grounding. We would classify them as household items or occasional use.

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Don't know

I thought (hoped) it would be useful

The mounting screw is much larger than any of the other cables we have from Miller and Lincoln. I had to drill and butt the connection. The magnet is weak. The plastic tab on the handle slips off every time. Very very bad design and doesn't work very well.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
