It works, it protects your racquet

It adds weight to your racquet and needs to be glued firmly, but it protects the blade, although the blade is not as natural as without it, but it protects your racquet

Pros
  • Practice racquet handling and build strength off the ice as our steel wrap allows you to practice with your favorite racquet. Fits all standard hockey sticks and tapers to accommodate a wider range of sticks (all major brands).

Sent back but the product is great for stick handling

The product is durable, but unfortunately had to send it back because the product came loose from the stick due to the weight of the metal, even when tapped. Works great with a stick but wouldn't shoot at it. I will definitely try the plastic version!

Pros
  • The hockey stick protector is heavy enough to strengthen handling when practicing. Made of stainless steel, our weight band is stronger than ever and still weighs 2.8 ounces (79 grams). .
Cons

Heavy, uncomfortable, but durable.

So if you want your stick to never get damaged, then this article is for you. If you also want to exercise well then this item is for you as it is very heavy. It feels like you have a 5 pound kettlebell on the end of the stick. I order one made of plastic, it's easier.

Pros
  • Versatile - Suitable for adult, intermediate and junior players, right-handed and left-handed. The perfect hockey guide for kids and adults.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great low strength exercise tool

I'm giving 3/5 stars because I've used the metallic foil about 4 times and given the price, durability is an issue. I used this on my P28M blade. Installation was easy. This leaves surface scratches on the carbon. The stick feels like a battle axe. Ice hockey tape doesn't help. But once it's worn out, it's fine. I would recommend it as a training tool if it lasted longer or was at a better price. Do you also think that a blade with less flex improves durability?

Pros
  • At 79 grams (2.8 oz), extra weight is added to the end of the stick for strength training.
