I recently traded in an old car for a new one. Older cars and pickup trucks in the US had built-in cup holders that could hold cups of almost any size. Newer cars have tiny cup holders that fit 12 ounces. Beverage Cans, 12 oz. Styrofoam cups and conical cups for fast food and convenience stores will do, but no more than that.
