Plastic too tight. It was difficult to insert fairy lights into one end of the "S" and hook the other end of the "S" into the roofing. The price was cheap so it's not a big deal but it was worth spending more for good ones.

We bought this style of gutter clamps many years ago and we still have most of them after more than 5 Christmases. All the "fancy" gutter clips you usually see at Target/Walmart these days usually only last 1-2 seasons. They're a little harder to use, but hold the light better and last longer.

They arrived quickly and appropriately packaged. Installing on the gutters was a headache. I have pretty strong arms, but I still had to stretch them out before attaching them to the gutter (which is a standard design and I've used other brackets before with no problems). We used 25/100 clips but I'm going to throw these out and buy new ones next year.
