Just got this in February, there are no bugs to kill but I feel like this zapper definitely has some power compared to the cheap stuff I found at the big store Has. A simple press of a button creates a loud noise and easily kills insects, including large wasps.

Worked great for the first week until it stopped! I kept charging it thinking it had something to do with it, but it's kind of a godsend - by the way mosquitoes often need to be killed multiple times before they actually stop flying - not very successful with flies - you definitely need a few ranks. I liked the loud popping and popping noise it made, so I wouldn't count it against it - it's pretty nice to get those pesky little bastards.

Not very happy with this product. Extremely heavy and bulky for an "insect fly swatter". And you have to press the rod (button) on the handle to send a charge to the electrodes. It's actually hard to hit a fly in flight. And in some cases, even when I hit a fly, the insect wasn't electrocuted. The product is made of very hard (and possibly brittle) plastic. So I felt uncomfortable using it on an insect crawling on a hard surface. I've killed more flies with a regular fly swatter than with this…
