These are little squares that bunch up when you try to use them or roll them up. They are not very rough, I prefer a very rough exfol cloth and these are not rough at all to my preference. If you want an exfoliating towel that isn't as rough and you have small hands, this is great. Since I'm a big guy and prefer a very rough scrub, they don't work well for my alligator skin and big hands. When I use them, they take on the shape of a small ball or a rolled cigar.

The same ones I buy from stores I no longer frequent due to the pandemic. They are very rough and really remove dead skin and/or dirt from gardening, yard work etc. Exactly what I was looking for. Just the right size for me. Many of the scrub towels I found were too big. I ordered a large one and tried to cut it but when I did the edges frayed and it fell apart. The texture of it is quite abrasive to me, but I find it a bit more abrasive than a regular exfoliating towel. It comes in three parks and I couldn't find one so I gave away two others.
