I couldn't tell from the pictures but these are good thick hooks. I bought 2 sets. They are a bit difficult to screw in but seem very strong. Hangers for rafters pleasantly surprised. They come in very handy in my open plan frame garage.

That is exactly what they say. They are a little lighter than I expected but that's my fault as the amount they hold is clearly stated in the description, I just wasn't paying attention. This is my second set of these hangers. The original set is currently being used in my garden shed and has proven itself very well. These are heavy hangers that can support some weight. I have 6 shovels hanging on a hanger with ridged sides. If necessary, the "legs" of the hanger can be bent outwards to enlarge the opening; I had to do this to hang up some pickaxes and a common axe.
