Description of Homebrewers Outpost D1328 Draft Tower

This add on kit for kegerators will blow cold air up into your draft tower, reducing foaming and giving you a better pour. Small fan box pulls cold air from refrigerator and pushes it through tube stuck into the tower. 12 v power supply included. Gets rid of warm spots in fridge by increasing air circulation.

Does the job perfect for kitchen and dining room

Great defoamer, a bit noisy. I hooked up a ground pressure switch so I can just turn it on when I need to turn it on. The noise in the garage doesn't bother me. I would not recommend for a device in the house around the TV.

Pros
  • Brewing beer
Cons
  • Good but not great

Spend your money on a nicer device.

Surprised to see the name KegLand on some junk like this. Felt cheap when I took it out of the box. When I tried to connect the power cord to the device, the outlet broke. I had to disassemble and redo the wiring. When I finally plugged in the power, it's LOUD. So loud I can hear it running in my kegerator in my basement while I'm upstairs on the opposite side of the house. It's noisy! Spend another $20-$30 and buy a better tower cooler.

Pros
  • Filters and filters
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to set up, works great!

This fan really helps. It's easy to set up; You literally just plug it in. The hose stays in the tower easily, but I further secured it by wrapping it with velcro along with the hydration lines. I hooked it up to the same digital thermostat I use on my kegerator so the fan only comes on when the compressor is on. Works great! The tower is cold to the touch and the first beer poured is just as cold and less foamy than the second. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • Functionality
