I tightened as far as the fasteners would allow. I used teflon tape and it still oozed out of my 5 lb tank. PVC is too rigid and deforms easily. Don't buy for the barrel line

I use my C02 gas line at 35 PSI and have no problems! I use it for carbonated water. It is very easy to wash with hot water and only takes a few minutes. It has no strange odors and does not impart a strange taste to the water. It's 10 feet overall so I cut mine to 5 feet and that's more than enough. have a little excess, like with sparkling water, because sparkling water has to be shaken when corking. After cutting 5 feet I still have 5 feet that I use when I clean the cord and need it to dry.
