We bought these for the Christmas program and melted the plastic LEGAL. I will attach photos. The room smelled like burnt plastic - turns out the metal parts weren't attached properly so the metal parts inside are touching and the plastic is melting. The design is pretty terrible.

I bought these as centerpieces for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I was very happy with the purchase and they met my needs well for what I bought them for. They were pretty cheap but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, some of these lights don't go out until the top cover is completely unscrewed. You might think you've unscrewed it enough to turn it off, but you can go and come back and they'll turn back on. We used 13 for a candlelight service at home on Christmas Eve and luckily I put batteries in 15 of them because some of them turned back on unattended and we only had 13 to work when needed.

Bought these to use in all my Halloween candelabra and they have worked great. They are not too high and not too low. They're the perfect thickness (but light) and the light is a nice warm glow that shimmers very realistically. They each require 2 AA batteries, so be prepared to buy lots of batteries. They came with rubber caps for the bottoms to help them sit better in the holders but when I received my package I was missing some of these. Not critical, but it would be nice to have all capital

Let me start by saying that they don't look remotely realistic. That being said, I needed a large number of conical candles for my annual Halloween party and they fit the bill perfectly. They don't fit very well in my standard candle holders, but the sticky putty took care of that. In addition, the on/off mechanism is fantastic.
