Just What I Need: Battery Accessory

I have a Duracell gel battery in the box. He was left outside for a day in bad and good weather. I use for my winch on my car trailer. It works as expected.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Great price and workmanship

Exceeded expectations; even survived being submerged in water! Only complaint: the wing nuts and stems tend to stick together when rotated for either installing or removing electrical wires. It's frustrating and surmountable with a wrench on one side, but who wants to do that when you're in the middle of the water on a supposedly small boat?

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Functional and great for many things

Simple design with some great features. I now have one of my car batteries and use it for quick jumps and charging the phone while I'm in the garage. I haven't taken it on the road yet, but I will. Can be used for camping if you like it. Easy charging with external charging ports. I also like that it has a digital charge indicator. Overall it works great for what I need.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say

The top handle is useless!

I have a Red Top 34 Series Optima battery that fits in but I'm trying to figure out how to attach the strap? I ended up tying the battery to the top cover from the inside and used a separate ratchet weight strap to secure the external battery compartment. The first time I tried to use the carry handle it fell off immediately so I just threw it away. If your battery does not take up space inside, you will face the same problem. I'm surprised this pen works for everyone but there are two receipts

Does what it says on the tin

I've been using mine for about a month now. I'm alternating between using it for a trolling motor and a solar charger. The voltmeter at the top is enough to make me love it. The ability to connect accessories to it is also a bonus. 3/8 of the posts were a surprise. To be honest, I don't know what they were thinking. This means I have to modify every pigtail I want to use. I don't mind. Lately I can't seem to turn around without crimping the connector to something. But for those of you who want…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Legacy model

No high current fuse in spare parts

YSK: You need 3/8 inch ring terminals to connect external racks and these can be hard to find in the field. 1" ex on each side. (Uses the foam from the battery pack to hold it in place.) It has two USB ports 5V, 2.1A and 1A. The included strap helps carry it if needed Top handle but I prefer the side handles Also it fits my kayak perfectly Cons: It's important to have a main fuse and I think for the price it should come with a 50-60A reset fuse , and the 5V USB ports close when I clip it in…
