Best ONLY Transmission Fluid

This is the ONLY Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid. I've spoken to several Honda mechanics and they all say that using non-Honda fluid destroys their transmissions. My Honda has driven 183,000 miles with the original transmission, she has only seen this fluid in her life. The proof is in the pudding.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Bad Experience

Scammer deleted my first review

"GPS" seller scammer gave me a bottle when I paid for 6 bottles. So I posted a review about it which they deleted a day later. I thought maybe they made a mistake or something, but no, they deleted it with no apologies or anything. Now I know for sure this is a scam.

Just what the Accord needed.

This stuff can't be found where I live so it was nice to be able to buy it through Revain.com. We bought a Honda Accord that was having shifting issues and after examining it we realized Honda really needed it and nothing else would fit. Replacing the ATF solved the problem. Update: It is now October 9th 2016 and the car still shifts as intended.

Genuine Honda Fluid

Found on Revain as part of a "hot sale". The bottles were identical in appearance and weight (to the gram) to the DW1 bottles purchased from the dealer, so I'm pretty sure they're real. Did a few drains and fills on my 18 RDX 6 speed auto. Improved cold shifting that was "jerky" until the fluid warmed up. Honda typically requires a 35,000 mile fluid change (check the service code) on the DW1 AT. In my experience this is when you will see the drop in performance of the DW1 fluid. YMMV.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • This is driving me crazy

Automatic Transmission Drain and Fill Honda Civic EX 1996-2000

Drained and refilled oil on a 1996 Honda Civic EX with automatic transmission. The car used to shift sluggishly in the cold, now the gear shifts quickly and smoothly, there are no more sluggish shifts. If you have a high mileage transmission that has not been properly maintained, you don't want to "flush out" all the old fluids, you need to gradually remove the old fluid. Drain transmission oil and top up at the same time during the next 3 oil changes.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Original Honda fluid at a TOP price!

While there are alternatives that can save you $2-3 a gallon, why not use an OEM fluid? This is a great price. Better than what I get with my wholesale bill from my local Honda dealer. I bought 6. They are securely glued together with lots of air pockets to prevent movement or damage! My 2011 Fit uses about 4 liters. If you run it for about 10 seconds after it's used up, another liter will be squeezed out. Takes about 20-30 minutes with just a ramp, 3/8" ratchet (no socket wrench required), oil

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Low set

Good deal at this price - only use DW1

Honda recommends a transmission flush in my CRV every 40,000 miles. That seems like a lot, as Honda says it takes 3 liters over three shifts to complete a 9 liter "flush”. Three trips to your dealership can be costly for something even easier than changing the engine oil (you can find instructions on YouTube). But Honda transmissions are the most expensive to repair so this will be my second replacement in 135,000 miles. If you have a Honda, only use Honda gear oil - this is NOT marketing hype.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
