My daughter is 19 pounds and 28 inches long and we bought a size for 12 months. While the length is okay and it has room to grow. The rest of the pajamas are very cozy. It was almost difficult to close. If they had a little more stretch they would be fine, but they aren't. Enlarge when you buy.

In general I like them but they run small. My grandson is already a little guy and at the age of two his clothes are still too big for him. So I bought 12 months in these pajamas. It's too tight like it's pulling him down so I put it on top of one of his stuffed animals. I learned my lesson and read the reviews on the Honest website and most of them said to order a size up.

We love these pajamas. We have 6 pairs in 4 sizes from newborn to 2T in multiple colors. Both our baby and toddler love them. They are soft, colorful and well made. However, they are SUPER long and skinny. They are a few centimeters longer than other pajamas of the same size. This now lengthens the fit, unless you have a slightly chubby child - then the zipper presses into the leg, which isn't exactly comfortable.

Yes, the handles will be snug like Bert's bees, so if your kid is stocky I probably won't take them. The fabric suits my daughter with skin issues very well and her feet are big enough (but not too big!) to give her toes room to move comfortably. Thick enough fabric to keep warm and protect it from scratches, but breathable skin, it won't overheat or become irritated! We love these 🙌🏽
