🐝 Honeybee Gardens Black Magic Truly Natural Mascara - 0.17 oz Review

I appreciate the use of good ingredients. However, this product is a joke. It is very loose and difficult to build up eyelashes. After trying to apply this I was expecting exfoliation but there wasn't. That's why it has 2 stars and not 1. Don't buy this. There are other mascaras on the market that are vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic, and rated 0 on Think Dirty and EWG.

I am happy with the Honeybee Gardens mascara for its ingredients and it works adequately, if not on par with richer chemical mascaras that thicken, lengthen and/or curl. It just makes your lashes look black. If you want your lashes to look thicker then you need to apply 2-3 coats and if you want to curl then you need to do some serious lash curling beforehand. I've been using this mascara for a few days hoping I'll like it better with time. I switched from Benefit They're Real Mascara because of its high carcinogen content and this mascara had great reviews and one of the lowest allergen counts (according to the Think Dirty App). Honeybee Gardens Mascara in Black Magic is a regular mascara for a natural look. I have to apply two coats of mascara to really show it off - I don't usually need two coats of mascara. I'm a brunette with very light brown lashes - I don't have them without mascara. I want to love this product, the company has a great philosophy, but I can't get this mascara to darken, thicken or make a difference on my lashes, even with multiple uses. It doesn't really go any further. If you want to look like you haven't applied mascara, great, but you can do it without mascara. Disappointing.
