I am happy with the Honeybee Gardens mascara for its ingredients and it works adequately, if not on par with richer chemical mascaras that thicken, lengthen and/or curl. It just makes your lashes look black. If you want your lashes to look thicker then you need to apply 2-3 coats and if you want to curl then you need to do some serious lash curling beforehand. I haven't found a way to make it longer, although at least it makes them longer for my lashes simply by turning the sun-bleached tips black and visible. Also, it's not waterproof at all and doesn't scratch. It does have a nice texture though - it's not as sticky as regular mascara and doesn't have as many clumps. It also doesn't have that weird smell - I even think it smells a bit like muesli. Overall I would recommend it but after that I may experiment with other natural mascaras as it was my first.
