I am a beekeeper and I use these molds to cast processed (melted and filtered) wax. These molds hold approximately 2 oz. made of wax and they are much prettier than standard wax stick shapes. After the wax has cooled, the wax cakes can be easily pushed out of the mold. If and when these wear out I will be ordering more.

I ordered these first as my kid is obsessed with honey and bees. We used them as soap molds. I was initially a bit concerned if the soap would come out of the mold as they are very detailed. I shouldn't have worried. Once the soap had hardened, it popped out of the mold with no problem. And the details are great! After using the rod for about 2 weeks we realized the details were fading but the hexagon shape is still a classic! I love these shapes - and easy to clean.

These little bee comb shapes are amazing. I use them to make soap and I will attach the honey almond sweet soap I made the day I got it in the mail. I poured my soap in and the molds held their shape well as they were silicone and I was concerned they would bend outward once the hot liquid was poured. They were very flexible and easy to remove. , the design was the same on every surface of the soap and I was able to clean it easily as no marks were left on them or in the design.
