Spools worked on my Sailrite Fabricator machine. The problem was that they were covered in oil and rust that needed to be cleaned with Dawn dish soap and a toothbrush. When I cleaned each one, I didn't notice any rust on the coils themselves, and I don't know where it came from. I usually buy polished nickel plated coils, which I will continue to buy. I will never buy black coated coils again, they are too labor intensive.

Although this is a size M spool, they don't fit properly on my machine. The center hole was too small to fit my spoolers. Me made an adjustment to which I could spool thread on it. The center of the spool (where the thread goes) is smaller which means there was relatively less thread on it. The spool fitted into the bobbin case but it rattled a bit. These bobbins work fine but the center hole size is slightly different. I've found that some of them fit a bit looser on the spool shaft for winding, so the hole for the shaft needs to be slightly larger than others sold by long arm manufacturers. They don't fit my bobbin winder that well, so some of them don't wind as fast or as full as other bobbins.
