I am seriously shocked at the negative reviews for this product, it suits my car perfectly. I had to remove the sewing pin to place it, but I still had to take it off to get the old stitch plate out. It clicks into place and my machine is back up and running great. The product looks very high quality and durable.

When I received mine it looked exactly like the one that came with my serger. I was back and running in no time! A little hint: spin the machine manually and slowly to make sure your needles don't hit the metal on the new plate. When I put mine in for the first time, I could hear her rubbing lightly against one of mine. The footrest must be mounted and screwed very precisely. Works great!

EDIT: I didn't initially think this would work with my brother, but it does. There is an extra detail on this plate so a little more force is required when attaching the seam finger. Hopefully it will last as long as the original. Thank you for the goods! Didn't fit my Brother 1034d. It has an extra detail that is not in the original. It fits when the prick finger is removed, but not when the prick finger is in place. The upper looper cannot be raised with this plate and the needle finger.
