I was hoping to love this foot

I was hoping to love this foot. However, my Brother QC1000 didn't like it. She seemed to bend the stick where the needle goes.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Running foot or knitting foot?

Bought as a test instead of a bulky and noisy walking leg. I've found this foot to be just as good for sewing knits as the walking foot, so I'd highly recommend this foot to anyone hesitating between the two.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Not what I thought.

I could have sworn I pushed the button but they sent me the one I had to screw on which is no different than my walking foot and then I get an E -Mail clasp advertising at the same price but in any case I will not order because it is not as good as my walking leg. It's a little less awkward to put on and a little quieter to use, and the little piece of blue plastic underneath kept coming loose when trying to sew something thicker material like a seam. I will continue to use my walking leg.

Pros
  • Low Shank Knitting Foot for 5613L Sewing Machine
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

Works well but the lack of instructions made installation hairy.

I'm still not sure if I used this foot correctly. I need to find this type of foot on youtube and see if I can find instructions on how to normally install them. I used it and it worked fine but I still think my installation was wrong. Otherwise it makes a neatly constructed impression. This is my first encounter with knitwear and I don't understand what makes a knitted foot so special. Another reason I think I need to find installation instructions. I've seen many sewing feet over the years…

Pros
  • Low Shaft Knitting Foot
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Great foot for knitwear!

I have been sewing knitwear for about a year. I recently discovered the knitting foot and wow! Knitwear will not clump or pull into the sewing machine. I use the foot on my Brother cs6000i sewing machine with absolutely no problems. The foot holds the fabric in one smooth motion. Using the presser foot along with a good quality thread, a stretchy needle and the right stitch (zigzag or stretch stitch) will allow you to successfully knit garments without an overlock.

Pros
  • Singer Brother Elna Pfaff Viking Knit Foot
Cons
  • Rmpled
