Please don't waste your money

The fan rose well. The speeds on it are all messed up. The chain broke within half an hour. The forward/reverse switch did not move. The speed is set to 2 and the fan runs as slow as to one. It also turned out to be made in 2007!

This fan is NOT WHITE.

This fan is NOT WHITE. I can't say anything about the function of the fan because I didn't install it. I opened the box and saw that it wasn't even remotely white so I sent it back. If you want an off-white or off-white fan, that's probably fine.

GOOD QUALITY FOR THE PRICE

The saying "you get what you pay for" is true. This fan is quite easy to install. I like the easy locking mechanism for installing the fan blades. Nothing out of the ordinary in appearance and a bit less modern than I expected. It's also not as powerful a fan as my other ceiling fans, but it will work for my office. In general I am satisfied.

Easiest Fan to Install

I have installed many fans in my life and they can be a little tedious. This was very handy, it's worth noting that where the fan blades attach to the blade holder you usually have 3 screws that you have to insert and screw in by hand as the blade mounting screw is already attached to the blade holder. Basically you push the blade and blade holder together and the holder has what looks like 3 wing nuts to attach them together. You turn it 90 degrees and you're done. It saved time and was soโ€ฆ

NO white fan. Almond/cream.

This fan is NOT white! There was another review that said the fan was nowhere near pure white and I should have listened to that review. Everything else about the fan seemed to be of decent quality but the color was sooooo bad that after it was taken out of the box and held up to our snow white blanket it went back into the box to send it back. I was disappointed that I had to return it as it was exactly the built-in fan I was looking for, but the 80's almond color just didn't match. If you are

Bad Design - Ceiling Fans and Accessories

I replaced a fan I installed 30 years ago. You might think that new technology would make installation easier, but think again. All was going well until it was time to install the fan blade mount to the engine. First you need to remove the bolts from the motor. they are short Then you need to put the screw through the bracket into the fan motor. They give you a blade wide slot for the strut to line up with the holes. The screws are too short and don't fit a magnetized Phillips screwdriverโ€ฆ
