Buying Honeywell branded products instead of fakes

I just installed this so can't comment on value for money until I see how it performs over time. This time I decided to go back to real filters from the company and they are more expensive. The blue material on the outside gives the impression that it is stronger. I've used cheaper fakes for a while and they barely lasted a month before becoming hard, browned and out of shape. So if they last a few months, the difference in cost will be worth it.

The brand name is really better!

Much better than cheap fakes! My youngest son is prone to nosebleeds from dry air and we bought a Honeywell humidifier last winter. It often runs year round (winter typically lasts 7 months or more) and we started buying regular replacement filters. They had to be replaced a lot quicker than those Honeywells, and some of them smelled horribly like wet socks. The price of this set was reasonable as it is a well known brand and two filters are included. NO smell of wet socks and they easily…

Superior Remastered - Replacement for Honeywell HAC-504 Humidifier Filter A (Updated)

This one Honeywell's updated blue pre-filter is a significant improvement over the old version of this filter. I use my humidifier 24/7. during the winter months. I've been using these Honeywell filters on the HAC-504 for 7 years, these upgraded filters last much longer and don't fall apart like previous filters if you follow the directions on the box to turn the filter daily. I also recommend rinsing the filter in warm water when it starts to get crusted and scrubbing the base of the…

Clean, Comfortable, Healthy Air

The air you breathe at night should be clean and moist enough to avoid dryness and irritation. This is especially true during the pandemic as we try to eliminate any cold or sore throat that might develop into something more serious.
