Dies after 5 months.

5 months and this engine is already dying. It runs at about 50% of the speed it should, if I don't point it down it blows faster. 1 year warranty? Yes, but you have to pay $10 for shipping, what's the point? I think I'll buy another one for $8 and hope it doesn't die in another 5 months. I had one of these fans about 5 years ago and it worked great for years. Maybe they're making them cheaper now.

Unstable but cool air

Bought 2 when our box fan finally gave up in old age. Both are insanely quiet to start with, with just the right amount of white noise. The air movement was amazing, cool and you could feel it throughout the room. But after 1 week 1 fan just stopped working. Turned off in the morning, turned on in the evening - nothing. Changed fuse and still nothing. The same after 5 days. I see one, maybe just a bad fan, it happens. Two? Ugh, so while it's great, it's very unstable and we didn't last long. I…

  • Useful not only for its intended purpose

I stopped working after two years.

I bought this fan in July 2016 before I went to college where I lived in a dorm with no air conditioning. This fan has been my faithful helper for two years. I slept with it next to my head and wore it every night. It was powerful and cooling. However, starting this year, the fan suddenly began to turn off or slow down. Throughout the night it randomly picked up speed and then slowed down again. In the morning I woke up to the barely moving fan blades. Now I tried turning it on and it stopped…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Not what it used to be

We brought this back after testing. One of my family members has a few of these and I enjoy using them when I visit because they have the perfect amount of sound blocking white noise without being distracting and they push out tons of air. I expected the same from this one, but it looks like they've changed the model over the last few years. Now they are very quiet and don't push the air very quickly at all. Even on the highest setting, it felt like a "low" typical box fan. Very disappointing…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

A poem about a fan.

I'm quite a tall man, my temperature is hot My blood boils and simmers like a cast-iron kettle The last fan I had made almost no breeze When the sweat settled and I smelled like wet cheese. It made a lot of noise and drowned out all sounds. Meanwhile, a puddle of sweat dripped onto the floor. I couldn't take it anymore, my face was burning! I felt like a campfire fed with hoops. really good news) It came in the mail and I immediately pocketed it and felt a cool breeze hit my skin. I was cool! I

Pros
  • This is great

"TurboFors " says incorrectly. "TurboHurricane ", maybe?

Let's be realistic, when you buy a fan you want it to move air. This beauty does it IN PIPS! Even at low levels, it still pushes out quite a lot of air and relatively quietly. I installed it a few feet from my bed and figured it was "enough". Not correct. It's almost too much, and to me it says something. When I'm (as usual) lying with my back to him, the wind blows around my ears enough to make a sound – yes, literally the wind blowing past my ear. And it's a short distance of 3 feet!…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works for my sleep sound

I've been using a fan for his sleep sound for over eight years. In the last eight years I've left over twenty fans. I leave the fan running continuously for hours until I wake up every night. When I travel, I also take a fan with me. I have bought so many brands and styles. I've had plastic fans, metal fans, pedestal fans, pedestal fans, expensive, cheap, and so on. I tried the most. I lost another fan that I paid a lot of money to a few weeks ago. It just didn't work anymore. Another will be…

  • Nice packaging

  • I don't remember

Surprisingly durable, quiet

Summary: In this review I am comparing 3 fans including this one. With the prospect of summer coming and I'll be living in an apartment that isn't suitable for unit window air conditioning and a faulty central air conditioner that the homeowner won't fix, I prepared myself by installing a set of fans bought. In the following paragraphs, I compare them in terms of power consumption, perceived noise, perceived airflow, and overall functionality. They were all tested in an area of 150 square…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
