    IT SMELLS BAD! Best in Parts & Accessories

    I am updating my rating from 5* to 2* because my second purchase of this product was terrible. The filter stank like old tires in my house when I was using it.

    Strong smell is coming from this new filter

    These filters fit very well but have a very strong plastic smell even after a few weeks of use which does not seem normal. Not sure if these filters smell like that or if they give off gases, I'd rather not smell at all anyway!

    The chemical smell makes it unusable.

    I had another filter that I found and they are all labeled for Hepa rating etc. This filter did not and had a very bad chemical odor Found and never used with no odor. I don't think this is a real filter, I think this is a replica, please do not buy

    Like new Chemical smell label

    Product has a strange chemical smell. One of the tags says "Like New". Sold as a new certified product. I called the manufacturer Honeywell on the packaging and they said it was not an official filter if sold by a third party. Maybe it's an accident but I will not buy from this seller again.

    Indispensable for allergies!

    I use air filters everywhere and this is a must for my allergies! Cleans the air and reduces dust particles to a minimum. Make sure to replace it with a new one every year, otherwise it may start giving off an unpleasant odor. It costs the same as buying it in a store, but the time saved browsing Walmart is priceless! The best part. You don't have to go to Walmart.

    Service Required

    I have had this air filter for a few years now. That has always worked very well. Some time ago while cleaning I noticed that the first filter was very dirty and decided to buy replacement filters. I installed the new filters and immediately noticed a reduction in noise and an increase in airflow. I still love the air purifier and will be back for more filters to keep the air purifier effective.

The filter is actually a bit lighter than in the picture. This is my second HEPA filter from Amazon; first year ago. Lots of trees and grass where I am, lots of dust since it's in my bedroom, no smoking so I didn't have to use it, and a cat.

    Great filter ideal for allergies

    We love our air purifier and it's a really good price for a replacement filter. We've had it for about 3 years now and I've changed this filter twice. My kids have allergies and this has helped keep their room nice and filtered. The filter is also easy to replace, just pull out the old one and put this one in.     Same filter as Walmart or other retail stores, but only half so high price. I don't recommend this to you without asking the machine manufacturer, but my Honeywell desktop requires a Type C Hepa filter. I have been using an H True Hepa filter for over a decade as shown as I require an additional form. and cleaning from the dust that a real hep has.     Honeywell makes excellent HEPA filters. I have a short black HPA-050 air purifier in my bedroom and it's on all the time. I have allergies all year round and I honestly don't understand how I went without an air purifier next to my bed for so long. I have no doubt that this filter really does the job.
