I have to work in a small kitchen and usually prepare meals for one or two servings. This rolling pin is perfect for my needs. It also doesn't take up much storage space.

somehow reluctantly at first. Thought it was too small and not heavy enough for the job but oh my god I was wrong. I love it! I have absolutely no complaints.

I used to have a rolling pin with handles but I've seen a lot of people use this straight type I ordered or a French roller. I decided to order a straight 18" and I'll admit it took quite a bit of learning, but once I got the hang of it I found it to be a great tool!

I needed a simple little rolling pin and that's what I got. For those reviewers who complained about the sizing, be sure to read the product dimensions before purchasing. At the moment I am completely satisfied. If anything changes after further use I will come back and update my review. I would buy this again.

I am very happy with it. I wanted a second rolling pin when my kids were helping, so now they use my original rolling pin and I use this one. A little wider would be nice but this one is exactly as described and it's just a personal preference for what I make. Would be the perfect size for the cake bases!

I regret not getting this rolling pin sooner, my hands are small and I always had a regular rolling pin, over time and arthritis it became more difficult to bake until I found this rolling pin. For me the perfect size is 13 inches, easy to roll, the wood has a sheen that prevents sticking. I think this is a great investment for any good baker and it fits perfectly in the drawers of my apartment.

I bake a lot and always used my mother's old rolling pin with flimsy handles that often got in the way. I ordered this to avoid unnecessary grips and to keep my fingers out of the way thanks to the tapered ends. Also useful when rolling out cookie dough as the edges of the dough don't press as hard, so the rolled out dough has a more even thickness. It feels smooth and looks smooth. I'm a fan and see it in my kitchen all my life. (I'm 25 so there's still plenty of time)

I bought this rolling pin to roll out pizza dough. I needed a smaller needle for the grammar style pizza I cook. I first used it to mash/flatten small parboiled potatoes to make baked potatoes. The rolling pin worked well, but it might have worked better if the pin had had more weight. I then used it to roll out pizza dough. Again, it worked pretty well, but could have worked better if it was a little heavier. It was easy to clean. Overall I am happy with the product and glad I bought it.
