I only gave this device 2 stars because it is a battery drainer. I loved the light it gave off and everything about it until I realized that if I was only using it a few hours a day the batteries would need to be changed every other day and sometimes daily. I can't afford the battery cost.

So far this light source has been very useful. The motion detector is not too sensitive and the brightness is just enough for our basement stairs. You'll probably have to get a second one to be more efficient. My only complaint is that I had to dump all the information (and found the wrong information) to figure out how to get 3C batteries.

I have been looking for a remote controlled battery light for our barn and it works great. We needed light so we could tell if the chickens were inside before we closed the door to their coop. This would be great as an extra light for the garage/shop. I love that it has a motion detection function as well as a timer function! Great light!

This light works well in my soul. I keep the remote on the windowsill outside the shower because nothing is waterproof. I was surprised to see 3C batteries to power this device. I will use it until the batteries die and then replace it with something that charges or uses a less expensive battery. It wasn't so expensive that it hurts me to throw it away

This light worked great in my shower. When installing, make sure the motion sensor is not pointed at the shower door, otherwise the light will come on every time you walk past the shower. Otherwise, the backlight is fantastic and the remote works well. It also gives you Demond features and blue and ivory lighting.

We use this motion sensor lamp at night in a hallway with no direct lighting. It stays on long enough to walk under it and turn on the light on the other side of the house, or even climb the stairs nearby. The remote control is great to have. The only downside is that you can't adjust the brightness of the light with the remote control, so I removed the asterisk. But to be honest, we're fine without this feature.

I installed it in our RV's bathroom. I like the remote control very much. The two screws that came with it were very small and I didn't think they were strong enough to hold the light while traveling. With 3 C batteries, it has some weight. The body of the flashlight pivots towards the base and there is no hard click. Seems a bit weak. So I roll it out and take it off before the trip. Of course, you can use tape, but it's best not to.

Good light/remote combo when you don't want to control two or more lights independently. (which are < 80 feet apart) I bought 2 lights for 2 different locations thinking that each remote would control each light independently when needed. Each remote control has a range of 80 feet. So when I try to turn on one light, both lights come on. This works great if you want all the lights to "pair" with a single remote control.
