These bumps were too hard they have no retarding stage at the end. When your hood reaches the fully raised position, it will stop very hard and put a lot of stress on the hood

Works like new. I replaced both gas springs in my F150 and they fit perfectly. They are also easy to install. It took about 5 minutes. it would be less if I knew what I was doing.

Finally replaced the lifting legs on a 2006 F-150. Replaceable jacks restored to factory specifications immediately after installation. I removed it on the passenger side and immediately wanted to close the hood, but after 14 years of operation I had to do without the original. I'm glad I bought these lifts, they work great and are very easy to install.

Delivery was quick. The price was right. The clamps were a little stiff, but one side was very secure. The part attached to the hood can be unscrewed when the clip is closed. I'm not sure if that should happen but I'm too lazy to ask and exchange. We'll drive it and see what happens. As I said, at the right price and look like the old ones I took off. Let's see how long they last.

I just installed two hood lift struts on my 2008 F150 FX4. After 10 years the original had to be replaced. These new ones fit perfectly, installation was very easy. After installing one, I noticed that it held the hood on its own while I replaced the second, even though I still had the fuse on the hood. I am very satisfied and will order 2 more machines if necessary.
