    Works better than the original sanding pad.

    Perfect replacement for my Dewalt grinder. The Short Hook material is even stronger than the original. It has screw holes for 3 screws. Be sure to check how many screws your grinder uses to get the correct model change plate - later models use 4 screws.

    get what you pay for

    bad product at best. The mounting plate is plastic and the holes for the mounting screws wear out very quickly during use. After about 1 hour the holes had expanded so much that the pad fell off the grinder. Spend the extra money and get a Dewalt replacement. It comes with a metal plate to minimize wear on the mounting holes. Lesson learned.

    Repair your mill. Replace the worn velcro lining!

    Replace worn velcro pads. It is very easy to exchange and you will get your grinder back. I put off the exchange because I thought it would make a big difference. It was frustrating when the grinding wheels kept falling off. I was forced to use a sanding block! Do not wait. Save your frustration for more important things!

    Parts sticking issues

    It's easy to install but the grinding wheels don't stick very well. Liability sucks. After less than 5 minutes of use, the sandpaper flies off. While it's not that obvious, you do need to use a contact pad lest you get frustrated. It would be 4 or 5 stars if I didn't have to chase the grinding wheels. Anyway everything worked great after adding the $4 connector panel I bought in HD. I wish the pillow would have been an option when I made my purchase.

    Fits great, works great

    I haven't used my DeWalt DW421 sander for a long time and when I went to use it on a project the pad mounting disc was bad and just fell apart. So I decided to try this one as a replacement. The hardest part of the installation was removing the screws that held the old (original) drive in place. It was a little fiddly getting the screw heads through the holes in the new pad, but a little pressure forced them into the holes and then the only problem was threading them back into the drive plate…
