Bought this for my 15 year old nephew and he loves it

I bought this for my 15 year old nephew who mostly played football and baseball. This year he started paying more attention to his looks, telling us he was interested in getting a girl to like him etc. So I picked this pretty thing out for him. on him. I agreed! Please tighten the seams.

Let me start by saying that I bought almost every sweater Hope and Harry stocked for my son. This is pretty much the only brand in my son's closet and I just resize as he grows because I love the style so much. However, this particular sweater began to fall apart at the seams in several places within the first wash or two. So Heartbroken

I was so excited about this sweater. I ordered M for my 11 year old son who is of average height but slim build. Came EXCELLENT! And he LOVES it, but the very first day he wore it, he came home with a large seam tear along his left armpit and the fabric was straining over his shoulder. The picture is shown after 2 tries and fixing, first with double sided tape which left the white translation you see in the picture and the 2nd attempt to fix it was a quick sewing job.
