I have used various Hopkins kits in the past, this was for my 2006 Hyundai Sonota and has worked well. Good material, good instructions, no problems. Although not necessary, I always run an extra ground wire from the trailer to the tractor frame. The instructions recommend using the tester provided to pierce the plastic sheathing of the wires. I found it much easier to turn off the light and touch the tester directly to the end of the connector clip. It takes a lot of effort to poke a hole in the wire and I was afraid of hurting my hand and damaging the wire.
