Brake light doesn't work!

I had a pro install this for me and as other reviews have noted he couldn't get the brake lights to work, everything else worked except stop signals. This should be compatible with my machine, but this doesn't seem like a very rare issue. I'll send it back and get another one, hopefully one that will cost more to install than I saved. Date updated: After getting some answers to my question on this topic, I found out that this is the basis, if you put a toothed washer under the cable it will be…

After I plugged in a new one, all the wires were fine except for the drum roll. . . . . . the right turn signal does not work. All cables leading to the box really caught fire, but turn…

The instructions recommend using the supplied piercing tester.

The instructions recommend using the tester provided to pierce the plastic sheathing of the wires. I found it much easier to turn off the light and touch the tester directly to the end of the connector clip. It takes a lot of effort to poke a hole in the wire and I was afraid of hurting my hand and damaging the wire. After everything was assembled using the included blue break wire connectors, I plugged in the trailer and nothing worked. It took me a bit of fiddling with my multimeter (you can…
