🎮 HORI Game Card Case 24: An Officially Licensed Nintendo Switch Storage Solution Review

I had great faith in Hori and this licensed Nintendo product, but that was a mistake. I was trying very carefully to remove my new game and in the process broke one of the plastic guide pins on the back of the game. The case is also made of very cheap plastic and not of the highest quality. I absolutely do not recommend this item and if I could give it one star I wouldn't.

I have a lot of limited edition Switch games, let alone imported ones, which definitely won't survive multiple insertions/extractions from the game case. Check out the video reviews to get a better idea of how inflexible and rigid the plastic that makes up this case is, and if you'd want to subject your gaming collection to such violence. It took me 5 minutes of carefully trying to slot a game into the slot to make a decision. Will look for a softer foam based playing card case to replace it…

This case fits me perfectly. The fit is perfect for switch game carts. Not sure what other users are complaining about, I've filled all the slots and while the toy cart fits snugly the carts don't experience undue stress. Toy carts fit perfectly and can wiggle by a SMALL part (0.25mm?) in the slot meaning they don't put any real force on themselves that would otherwise clamp them. As the description says, it can hold 24 Switch game cartridges or 23 Switch game cartridges and dual Micro SD card holder. Check out the photos. Game cartridges hold securely. I hate elastic holders because they cover half of the print on the cartridge. It's like seeing half an icon on the home screen: it's nonsense. This suitcase is an elegant solution. My husband and I have had 2 of these covers in 4 years. After playing our games, we saved them. Well my husband wanted to play the game he won before. Well, when he tried to take the game out of the case, it damaged the game. He broke one of the black plastic strips and we didn't know about it at the time. I don't quite understand all the good reviews. While the build quality and looks are okay, the functionality isn't great. The fit is very snug and I didn't even try to fit the game in there considering how hard I had to push.
