Happy with my purchase.

Great arcade stick. It's lighter than Madcatz, but that doesn't bother me. If you've never used the Sanwa/Seimitsu keys, you'll love them. I've changed mine and prefer Sanwa a bit. They feel a bit softer in comparison, although I think the Kuro keys work great on their own and there weren't any typos when using them, the Sanwas just felt better. The Hayabusa Stick, on the other hand, is great. A week later I took the stick apart to try the Seimitsu ls-56 and the quality of the Hayabusa grip isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Redesigned body and more space between and under the joystick and buttons
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

It works. but I'm glad I kept looking and got it back.

This joystick shows up in many searches along with more expensive options (which I tried to avoid). It's a "nice" setup, but personally I'm not a fan of "clicking" joysticks, so I avoided buying a fighting game that I like. When Street Fight 30th Anniversary came out, I just couldn't resist. After an intensive search and various test reports as well as the price, I decided on the Hori Real Arcade Pro 4. I was happy with the responsiveness of the buttons, but the joystick caused a bit ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Uses original HORI HAYABUSA joystick and new HAYABUSA buttons
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Overall great joystick

I've had this joystick for about 4 months now and use it almost every day to play SFV on PS4. I also have an original PS3 SFIV TE stick that I used from 2012 to 2017, so that's sort of my basis for comparison. Overall, the HORI RAP 4 has performed admirably over the past 4 months. I play online competitions and made it to the Ultra Bronze category. The stick is very smooth, but the spring tension is a bit looser than the SFIV TE stick I'm used to. I didn't like the looser tension at first, butโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Official Sony License
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
